This year, we engaged our flexibility, discovered our resourcefulness, and rose to meet the changing world with light, love, and resilience. For this, I honor you.
I honor that you've adapted to show up for online yoga classes, settle into yourself, commune with the breath, and greet the fear, insecurity, sadness, and uncertainty we all share - as invaluable teachers.
I honor that you're choosing to bring light and love intentionally into your mind, body, spirit.
Please take a moment to honor all the new understandings that have come in for you and all the ways you've become more flexible, held yourself accountable, and offered discipline to this year of great adjustment.
As the year's end approaches, recognize the expansive new frontiers you've discovered within, and release the old ways ...because we're heading into some spacious, innovative times, and the world needs your light.
I want to share a practice with you that always comes around for me at this time of year. I've created a beautiful practice sheet with instructions to help you bring in the energetic and spiritual nourishment of focus.
As you take a moment with the flame, extending your attention into the light to connect more deeply into your own inner light, may all that you need to replenish your spiritual reservoir drop in.
When you work with the Trataka Practice, know that you can use a feather, a crystal, a photo, or any inspiring image to bring your attention into dharana, into single-pointed focus and concentration.
I offer you this practice and my deep gratitude.

The Winter Solstice takes place at 2:01am on Monday, December 21st. Gather for class this morning and/or evening to usher the light back in, return ourselves to essence nature, and bless the light of the True Self.
